Message from the President

It is an honor to serve as a President of Curacao ASCD, a family of learners that are seeking to experience the ‘process’ of effective professional and personal development. It is both an opportunity and a responsibility. It is an opportunity to grow professionally through challenging dialogs and to care for and assist in enhancing an educational environment that can stimulate individual learners in their personal development. It is a great responsibility to be part of ‘making a difference with significance’, first of all for the members of CUR-ASCD and for the educational community in general.

CUR-ASCD (Curaçao Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) is presently developing different projects amongst which a Social-Emotional research programme; an educational programme for teachers and learners called Reef Fest; and is presenting its position on education to educators and politicians alike. We at the CUR-ASCD wish to invite you to join us in our effort to transform education and help in shifting the paradigm towards the Whole Person.
